A Cardiff woman who reported being unable to see anything has since confirmed both her eyes were closed.
“I didn’t know what happened,” she explained. “It all happened so quickly.”
Witnesses say the phenomenon lasted for several seconds before she attempted opening her eyes again.
Optometrist Dr Rachel Moore said the incident, while undoubtedly scary, was “consistent with how eyes work.”
