A report of a “cheesemonger” sighting near a dairy outside Cheshire has reignited debate over whether the supposed figures exist.
The witness claims to have seen a man-like shape standing behind a counter surrounded by different cheeses, before asking if they could “help with anything”.
“This follows a regular pattern,” said cryptozoologist Dr Alan Johnson. “Someone sees something vaguely human near a large amount of cheese and suddenly we’re meant to believe they live among us.”
Enthusiasts across the world insist the cheesy apes, known for making cheese in large caves are real and claim they have extensive knowledge of lost recipes.
The Daily Pyre’s expert critic remains unconvinced.
